Job Description
System Analyst Navy Federal Credit Union $32.00 - $51.00 / hr United States, Florida, Pensacola Aug 04, 2026 Overview Navy Federal Credit Union currently does not provide sponsorship for this role. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship. Responsible for evaluating business needs and designing technology-based solutions that improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. This role acts as liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating requirements into functional specifications and supporting the development, testing, and implementation of automated systems. At the mid-professional level, the analyst independently analyzes business needs and translates them into system requirements. This role designs and documents moderately complex systems, supports implementation and testing, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet business objectives. The analyst contributes to process improvements and provides user support and training. Responsibilities Manage daily production incident triage and coordinate resolution efforts with the business.
Recommend improvements for existing automated system controls and protocols to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Facilitate working sessions with stakeholders to define and document system requirements and specifications. Independently create workflow charts, process maps, and system documentation to assess system functionality, identify gaps, and develop business requirements.
Collaborate with vendors to support system integrations, enhancements, and issue resolution.
Manage small-scale projects end-to-end, including identifying milestones, phases, and deliverables.
Design, perform, and manage user acceptance testing
Create new system protocols by writing and updating procedures and documentation.
Develop materials such as user guides, process flow charts, and training content, and deliver training sessions as needed.
Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant industry standards, best practices, business processes and technology used within related business areas to ensure compliance with policy, vendor contractual requirements, procedures, processes and standards
Collaborate with key partners in development and delivery of solutions
Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or the equivalent combination of education, training or experience
2+ years of experience in systems analysis or IT/business support
Developing understanding of business and operating environment
Basic understanding of systems analysis and project management methodologies.
Able to analyze moderately complex problem-sets.
Effective written, verbal, and quantitative communication skills.
Ability to work independently on routine tasks and follow broad guidelines.
Familiarity with system testing processes including unit, integration, and acceptance testing.
Knowledge of business process improvement and automation concepts.
Ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate across teams.
