ABOUT YANMAR COMPACT EQUIPMENT NORTH AMERICA
Yanmar Compact Equipment North America Inc. (YCENA) designs, manufactures, and supports a complete range of compact equipment — including compact track loaders, mini excavators, wheel loaders, and construction equipment — for use in markets such as construction, landscaping, utility, land management, and agriculture. Products are sold primarily through a third-party independent dealer network across North America.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Warranty Analyst is responsible for processing and resolving warranty claims, ensuring compliance and accuracy across all warranty documentation and records, and serving as a key resource for the dealer network on warranty policies and procedures. This role works cross-functionally with internal teams and Yanmar factory partners to drive timely resolution of claims, support continuous improvement in warranty processes, and deliver a high standard of dealer and customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Process and resolve warranty claims accurately and in accordance with Yanmar policies and timelines.
  • Ensure all warranty documentation is complete, compliant, and properly maintained.
  • Maintain warranty records and ensure accurate, up-to-date reporting across all relevant systems.
  • Provide guidance to dealers on warranty policies, procedures, and claim submission requirements.
  • Follow up on outstanding warranty claims to ensure timely resolution and dealer and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Warranty Administrators, Warranty Analysts, and factory partners to support claim adjudication and recovery.
  • Identify trends in warranty data to support root cause analysis and product improvement efforts.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of warranty process documentation and training materials for the dealer network.
  • Data mining in Yanmar's Telematics Platform where it relates to warrantability of failures.
Requirements
BACKGROUND & QUALIFICATIONS
Required
  • 2-5 years of experience in an OEM warranty environment.
  • Technical background in construction equipment, diesel engines, or related mechanical systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in warranty management software and customer service systems.
  • Knowledge of Yanmar product lines and service procedures or demonstrated ability to develop this knowledge quickly.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences, including dealers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.). Preferred
  • Experience in a dealer-facing or customer service role within an OEM or equipment distribution environment.
  • Familiarity with warranty adjudication processes and supplier recovery procedures.
  • Exposure to warranty KPI reporting and data analysis tools.

$60-70K This position offers the potential for discretionary bonus compensation up to 8 % of base salary.
