About McIntosh Trail At McIntosh Trail Community Service Board, we offer individuals experiencing symptoms associated with mental illness, addictive disease and/or developmental disability the hope for optimal functioning and recovery by providing quality behavioral health services and supports. Summary Under general supervision, assists with auditing the training records and archiving of medical records charts to ensure compliance with the agency. The role involves gathering data, analyzing information, preparing reports, and making recommendations to improve internal controls . During the internship, you'll sharpen your analytical skills, work with operations team members, and learn risk assessment concepts and audit procedures . Responsibilities
  • Engage with various individuals across the company.
  • Research, audit and document training shortages, records explanations, and provides weekly reports.
  • Demonstrating working knowledge of agency training systems, including control structure and environment, and assessing the effectiveness of controls.
  • Clearly communicating recommendations verbally and in writing.
  • Adhere to confidentiality guidelines and regulations when managing sensitive client information.
  • Provide clear and concise documentation of the work performed and reports on progress in internship program and feedback about program. Minimum Qualifications
  • Any combination of education and experience within the business field or related courses.
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program/ university.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are critical for maintaining accurate records.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members.
Student enrolled in a Georgia high school, technical college, or university/college. Must be currently enrolled during the internship.
