Configuration Analyst II -
Product Engineering Support Location:
Cedar Falls, Iowa (Onsite)
Duration:
1-year
Contract Pay:
Up to $36/hour We are seeking a Configuration Analyst II to support product configuration, change management, and data quality initiatives across global product platforms. This role will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Parts & Service teams to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and effectiveness of configuration data throughout the product lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Create, maintain, and audit product structures, configuration rules, and related engineering data. Develop and support variant configuration data, model structures, and machine configurations. Implement engineering requirements, standards, and product changes within enterprise systems. Troubleshoot and resolve configuration-related issues impacting product builds. Support engineering change management processes and approval workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and implement product requirements. Conduct data analysis and reporting to identify trends, improve decision-making, and ensure data quality. Develop and maintain documentation, workflows, and configuration best practices. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on process efficiency and data integrity. Provide training and guidance on configuration tools, systems, and processes. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Knowledge of product configuration, Bills of Material (BOMs), specifications, and engineering data management processes. Experience with Product Data Management (PDM) systems and workflow tools. Understanding of engineering change management processes. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across cross-functional and global teams. Experience collecting and analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions. Preferred Qualifications Experience with
SAP, PTC
Windchill, Creo Parametric, iPPE, or similar systems. Knowledge of variant configuration and configuration management. Familiarity with cProjects, PPM, and workflow management tools. Agricultural or manufacturing industry experience. Experience supporting process improvement and global collaboration initiatives.
