Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and reliable Entry-Level IT Support Technician to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone beginning their IT career who wants hands-on experience in troubleshooting, technical support, and day‑to‑day IT operations. This position will be a temporary full-time internship lasting approximately 10-12 weeks. This is an hourly role, reporting to the QuesTec
IT & BIM
Integration Manager. Duties Provide first-line IT support for end users (in person, email, ticketing system) Triage and resolve hardware, software, and Microsoft 365 issues Set up and deploy laptops, desktops, and peripherals Manage user accounts (Microsoft 365: users, groups, SharePoint access) Review and respond to reported phishing emails Escalate complex technical issues to IT staff or vendors as needed Minimum qualifications and experience: Currently pursuing or recently completed an IT-related degree or certification (preferred but not required) Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/macOS), and common software applications Familiarity with networking fundamentals (Wi-Fi, routers, basic troubleshooting) Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn Good communication skills and a customer‑service mindset Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Positive attitude and outlook Excellent time management and organizational skills Solid understanding of confidentiality in an information-sensitive employment role Attention to detail and quality of work performed by self and work to be assigned to project(s) Valid driver's license Valid social security number
