JOB SUMMARY
This internship will focus on business systems, with an emphasis on Microsoft Dynamics 365, our enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform. The intern will work with IT and business users to support system processes, troubleshoot issues, improve documentation, and explore opportunities to make workflows more efficient. Because many ERP processes connect directly to finance and accounting, there may be opportunities to learn about the accounting side of business systems. This is a strong opportunity for someone interested in the intersection of IT, business operations, data, and accounting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with day-to-day support and administration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related business systems. Learn how ERP workflows support business functions such as purchasing, invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger activity, project/job costing, inventory, or other operational processes. Work with employees across departments to understand system questions, identify issues, and help document solutions. Assist with troubleshooting user and process issues and escalate technical concerns when appropriate. Help test system updates, configuration changes, workflows, reports, and process improvements before implementation. Create and maintain user guides, process documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials. Support data review, reporting, cleanup, and validation activities within Dynamics 365 and connected systems. Identify repetitive or inefficient processes and help explore opportunities for automation or improved system use. Participate in business systems projects and gain exposure to how IT partners with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and other departments. Assist with other IT systems and technology projects based on business needs and the intern's interests. QUALIFICATIONS
Understanding of manufacturing and construction workflows and ability to design AI solutions that fit into larger organizational systems Interest in Microsoft Dynamics 365, ERP systems, business applications, or enterprise technology. Interest in accounting or financial processes and how they are supported through technology. Comfort working with data, spreadsheets, and business processes. Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to investigate how and why a process works. Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical employees. Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable documenting processes.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Currently pursuing a degree or coursework in Accounting or Finance (preferred), Information Technology, Information Systems, Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
SOFTWARE PROFICIENCY
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft 365, or other business technology is a plus, but not required. Prior experience with Dynamics 365 or another ERP system is helpful but not required.

Strong written and verbal communication to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to non-technical audiences.
