Job Description
BCB Bank offers a paid summer internship program for college students designed to provide a comprehensive look at the banking industry through both individual and collaborative work. Each summer the internship experience is unique. This internship provides an overview of careers in the banking field. It is designed to provide meaningful professional development and insight into how the department supports a financial services organization. The IT Intern gets a backstage pass to how our tech team keeps the entire bank running. Instead of just reading about it, they will be in the thick of it! Tackling daily troubleshooting, helping with system rollouts, and getting a look at how technical needs are supported in a high-stakes environment. It is the perfect jumpstart for anyone looking to build a career in IT support, systems admin, or other related fields. ResponsibilitiesParticipate in IT projects such as hardware deployments, software rollouts, or testing new tools. Support setup and movement of workstations and peripheral devices.
Take Service Desk calls, opening, working, closing tickets.
Collaborate with team members to research issues and document solutions.
Learn about various aspects of IT. Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma/GED is required.
Currently enrolled at an accredited collegiate institution.
Ability to work 37.5 hours per week for the duration of the program. Physical Requirements & Working ConditionsLobby/professional office environment with moderate sound.
Ability to travel to branches and offices, off-site training, and/or meetings as needed. ScheduleThe duration is May 26th August 7th.
Interns work 37.5 hours per week. EOE m/f/d/v
