3+months with extensions Responsibilities The SAP Procure-to-Pay & Inventory Management Architect owns end-to-end solution design for procurement, materials management, and inventory operations on SAP ECC and S/4HANA within consumer packaged goods (CPG). This role sets the technical and process blueprint for a full PTP and Inventory Management workstream — leading design workshops, resolving cross-module dependencies, and governing delivery quality across the team.   • Architects end-to-end Procure-to-Pay solutions across
SAP S/4HANA
Materials Management — purchase requisitions, purchase orders, source determination, contracts and scheduling agreements, release strategies, and Logistics Invoice Verification
  • Designs Inventory Management and stock-control solutions (goods movements, physical inventory, batch management, special stocks, valuation) and integrates with EWM/WM for CPG warehouse and distribution operations
  • Defines integration architecture across MM, FI, SD, PP, and QM, and with external supplier networks (SAP Ariba, EDI, IDoc/BAPI, and APIs)
  • Establishes master data models and governance for materials, vendors, purchasing info records, and source lists to support high-SKU CPG portfolios
  • Leads fit-gap analysis, translates CPG business requirements into functional and technical specifications, and governs RICEFW build quality
  • Sets performance, security, and authorization design standards and drives resolution of complex cross-module defects following quality standards Behavioral Competencies (

  • Acts as design authority — aligns stakeholders, drives decisions to closure, and holds architectural integrity under pressure
  • Mentors consultants and analysts, sets technical direction, and reviews deliverables for quality and consistency

  • Anticipates cross-workstream risks and dependencies and escalates early with recommended options
  • Adapts the solution approach to fast-paced, seasonal CPG client environments while safeguarding scope and quality

  • Applies deep knowledge of CPG supply chain dynamics — demand-driven replenishment, high-velocity SKUs, trade promotions, plant and DC networks, and shelf-life, batch, and lot traceability
  • Translates procurement and inventory KPIs (inventory turns, days of supply, PO cycle time, perfect-order rate, cost avoidance) into solution design decisions
  • Shapes project scope, estimates effort, and manages scope boundaries and change requests across the PTP and Inventory Management workstream
  • Advises on process standardization, SAP best practices, and value realization aligned to truData's service offerings and delivery model
  • Partners with account and delivery leadership to identify opportunities and support proposals and client-facing deliverables
