The above reflects the anticipated annual salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. The Senior PeopleSoft Functional Analyst provides functional application expertise for various PeopleSoft Modules. This position will provide leadership for reviewing business requirements for data conversion solution designs to ensure that cross-functional teams fully understand the impact of decisions made during requirements gathering. The Senior PeopleSoft Functional Analyst will gather and document requirements, confirm setup and configuration, review technical specifications, and may conduct and facilitate design sessions As a Sr. PeopleSoft Functional Analyst, a typical day may include: Understanding functional processes and business rules related to the modules being supported. Participating in requirements analysis sessions and develop design specifications for each module they support. . Understanding and maintains knowledge of the system design and build to aid in development of new technologies and solutions. Creates robust Business and Functional documentation to support Technical design, system/user testing and implementations. Acting as a liaison between functional and technical conversion teams. Assisting the testing team to execute test scripts that thoroughly exercise the conversion. Performing application troubleshooting and problem solving related to conversion. Must be able to handle multiple activities simultaneously, be able to prioritize effectively, and meet overlapping deadlines. Must be able to recommend process improvements based upon industry standard in addition to resolving integrated process issues, especially related to conversion. Identifying, resolving and escalating project issues (when necessary) in a reasonable period of time. Developing clear and concise documentation that facilitates repeatable migration of the applications or processes. Scheduling and prioritizes with limited input and utilizes project management processes to maintain schedules and deadlines. Encourage knowledge sharing amongst peers and business partners. Actively promotes informal mentorships within the team. Maintains visibility to group strategic roadmaps. Encourages the creation of system documentation to support the goal of becoming a learning organization This Role Might Be For You If you are/have: Effective organizational and interpersonal skills. Able to manage multiple priorities on an ongoing basis while maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external partners. Project management skills. Data Analysis skills.
