Business Systems Analyst IV (IAM & Database Engineering Support)

12-Month Contract We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to support IAM and Database Engineering teams within a large banking environment. This role will focus on project analysis, process documentation, SDLC support, governance, workflow mapping, and stakeholder coordination , allowing engineering teams to focus on development and implementation activities. Key Responsibilities Partner with IAM and database engineering teams on project initiatives. Gather, analyze, and document business processes, workflows, and technical requirements. Support SDLC activities, change management, governance, and project tracking. Create process documentation, status reports, and project artifacts. Coordinate with technical, business, and compliance stakeholders to ensure successful delivery. Utilize Jira and ServiceNow to manage workstreams and project progress. Required Qualifications 7+ years of Business Systems Analyst experience supporting technical or engineering teams. Strong experience in process analysis, workflow documentation, and stakeholder management. Working knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts, including SailPoint, Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), IGA, provisioning, and access governance. Understanding of database environments and terminology, including SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, and cloud databases . Experience with Jira; ServiceNow experience is a plus. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. Preferred Banking or financial services experience. Experience with governance, risk, and compliance processes. Familiarity with Miro, Visio, Lucidchart, and GitLab.
