A Configuration Analyst or Specialist provides specialized technical assistance in software configuration management, a process to track and control changes in software. May work for a company software configuration management team and assist with all aspects of software configuration management, including software product and application reviews and analysis of system requirements. May work with software users to troubleshoot and resolve software configuration problems.

$60,000yr to $92,000yr
JOB SUMMARY
Configure how product is made in EIQ. Assists in maintaining the overall integrity of the ERP system. Collaborate daily with the Configuration Team to define, coordinate, and track the status of engineering changes, reworks, and deviations. Supports all data input into the ERP system and ensures accuracy of all data. Assists in the gatekeeping of all information being entered into the ERP system.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Configuration Analyst I:
Construct BOMs, Item Masters, and Device Master Records in EIQ to ensure efficiency of the system. Construct Engineering BOMs and Work Orders in EIQ. Coordinate with Planning and Engineering to track/monitor the status of engineering work orders. Maintain accuracy of existing BOMs and Item Masters Collaborate with the Configuration team and customers on resolving technical issues. Able to identify and implement enhancements that increase efficiency and minimize error. Review and collaborate on production documents. Resolve discrepancies in information entered into the system and obtain further information for incomplete documents.
Configuration Analyst II:
All essential functions listed above. Create/Update/Maintain Configuration process workflows Work collaboratively with the ERP Systems team on all enhancement projects. Organize and communicate Configuration project information with internal customers. Provide training when needed to LSI Solutions staff on the Configuration process.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Configuration Analyst I:
Associate s degree preferred OR Minimum 1-2 years experience in a manufacturing environment IQMS and/or configuration knowledge preferred Problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills required
Configuration Analyst II:
Associate s degree preferred OR Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment Established knowledge of configuration Problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Proficient with MS Office suite. Analytical problem solving / troubleshooting skills. Time management capability. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrate high attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively with other personnel
