Job Overview:

Abe's Vegan Muffins is looking for an on-site Systems Analyst to design, develop, and maintain legacy and cutting-edge software solutions that support our business operations and growth. Candidates must have 1-3 years of hands-on experience using SQL and Python in a professional setting and be comfortable working with operational and financial data — entry-level candidates, bootcamp-only applicants, or those without real-world business application experience will not be considered. This is a fully on-site role requiring collaboration with leadership and cross-functional teams, so only candidates meeting these requirements should apply. This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, leveraging SQL and Python to drive operational and financial insights, automate workflows, and enhance system performance. Key Responsibilities:

Analyze business processes across finance and operations to identify inefficiencies and recommend system-driven solutions Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets Build and maintain data pipelines, reports, and dashboards to support financial and operational decision-making Partner with finance and operations teams on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis through data modeling and system support Collaborate with operations teams to improve supply chain, inventory, and workflow tracking systems Develop scripts and automation tools using Python (or similar) to streamline or eliminate manual processes Support system integrations and enhancements between existing database systems, financial tools, and operational platforms Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for operations Document processes, data flows, and system configurations

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or related field 1-3 years of experience in a systems analyst, data analyst, or similar role Strong proficiency in SQL (or similar) Experience with Python (or similar) Familiarity with financial concepts Experience working with operational datasets (e.g., supply chain, logistics, inventory) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Team player who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

(Nice to Have) Experience with web or mobile application development Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Knowledge of security best practices Experience maintaining legacy systems Experience in a manufacturing or high growth environment

Pay:

The pay range for this position is $75,000-$90,000. Abe's Vegan Muffins takes into consideration a wide range of factors in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
