A Configuration Analyst or Specialist provides specialized technical assistance in software configuration management, a process to track and control changes in software. May work for a company software configuration management team and assist with all aspects of software configuration management, including software product and application reviews and analysis of system requirements. May work with software users to troubleshoot and resolve software configuration problems.
Lead the design, development, and customization of insurance solutions, ensuring they meet client requirements and industry standards. documenting architecture and system diagrams
Providing estimates for business cases, impact assessments, projects, and action requests in response to requests from Business Systems Analysts or Team Leads. Certification (Mandatory):
Strong experience in Guidewire Policy Center V10 Configuration, Integration, Rating Engine, product model configuration and GOSU Script development
Extensive experience in Guidewire integration mechanisms, Data model, Rules, Configurations, Admin data management, Performance monitoring and tuning, Guidewire application configuration (clustering, database configurations)
Guidewire Certification in Policy Center Configuration and Integration V10 is required.
Experience in building Gunits is required.
Strong experience in any JVM technologies or surrounding ecosystem (e.g. Java 8, J2EE, XML, SOAP, REST, SQL, PL/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, any Application Server, any Enterprise Messaging System)
Experience in web technologies like Servlets, JSP, JDBC, Web Services, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
Experience in data modeling and RDBMS.
Experience with SQL / PL-SQL and usage of SQL Developer or similar tools.
In-depth knowledge in coding standards, review process, branching and merging strategies, DevOps, and Guidewire best practices.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
