POSITION SUMMARY
Working under the direction of the Director of IT, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the onboarding of new customers and the ongoing support of electronic data interchange (EDI) transactions. Working closely with SPS Commerce, external customers, sales representatives, and internal IT Support, this role is responsible for implementing new trading partners, testing new document types, and troubleshooting document issues to ensure accurate, reliable data exchange.
ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the end-to-end implementation of new EDI customers and trading partners. Collaborate with SPS Commerce to configure, map, and test EDI documents. Test new and existing document types (e.g., purchase orders, invoices, advance ship notices, confirmations, inventory) to confirm they meet partner requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve EDI transaction and document errors in a timely manner. Partner with sales representatives to understand customer needs and support smooth onboarding. Coordinate with IT Support to escalate and resolve technical issues. Maintain documentation for implementations, mappings, and processes. Other tasks, duties and responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams. Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple implementations simultaneously. Preference will be given to candidates with the following: Experience with SAP or similar system. Familiarity with SPS Commerce and EDI document standards.
