00070476191 About the Role As a Facets Configuration Manager, you will make an impact by leading end-to-end configuration delivery for healthcare payer implementations, platform transformations, product launches, regulatory initiatives, and migration programs. You will be a valued member of the Healthcare Payer Delivery & Transformation team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, client leadership, operations teams, technology partners, and delivery teams to ensure successful configuration strategy, governance, quality, and execution. In this role, you will:
+ Lead configuration delivery across multiple Facets functional areas, including Membership, Group, Product & Benefits, Provider, Claims, Workflow, Billing, Customer Service, and Accounting.
+ Translate business, operational, contractual, and regulatory requirements into scalable and sustainable configuration solutions.
+ Establish and govern configuration standards, design controls, traceability processes, quality reviews, and approval frameworks.
+ Manage configuration scope, timelines, estimates, dependencies, releases, environment promotions, and implementation readiness activities.
+ Oversee configuration, migration, testing, deployment, and production support efforts across complex healthcare transformation initiatives.
+ Drive solution reviews, impact assessments, defect resolution, risk mitigation, and release management activities.
+ Provide leadership, mentoring, and work allocation for onsite and offshore configuration teams while fostering collaboration and delivery excellence.
+ Partner with business, compliance, operations, technology, vendors, and client stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful program outcomes.
+ Deliver executive-level reporting, governance updates, delivery metrics, and recovery plans to support informed decision-making.
+ Support production stabilization, root-cause analysis, configuration audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. Work Model We strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. + Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Healthcare Administration, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. + 10+ years of healthcare payer technology, implementation, configuration, or delivery experience. + 5+ years of experience leading Facets configuration teams, projects, or large-scale implementation efforts.
+ Strong knowledge of healthcare payer operations, claims administration, and product management across Commercial, Medicare, and/or Medicaid lines of business.
+ Experience leading enterprise implementations, platform migrations, product launches, regulatory initiatives, or transformation programs.
+ Proven success managing cross-functional, geographically distributed teams and stakeholder groups.
+ Experience with project planning, estimation, governance, RAID management, release management, resource coordination, and executive reporting.
+ Strong analytical, leadership, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills. These Will Help You Stand Out
+ Experience supporting Facets upgrades, migrations, production support, and configuration promotion tools such as CMU .
+ Knowledge of NetworX, healthcare EDI transactions, healthcare coding standards, system integrations, and SQL -based validation techniques.
+ Experience working in Agile, Scrum, hybrid, or large-scale enterprise delivery environments.
+ Relevant certifications in Project Management, Agile methodologies, Healthcare Technology, or Facets-related platforms.
+ Experience leading healthcare modernization, digital transformation, or operational excellence initiatives.
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applicants will be accepted till 10/15/2026 Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. Please note, this role cannot offer visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $130,000 - $145,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
