October 7, 2026 or two week notice Are you a seasoned professional in data and functional design seeking an opportunity to influence federal operations significantly? We are looking for an SAP Design Functional Lead (SAF) to join a groundbreaking initiative - the GSA GO.gov project! This position places you at the forefront of implementing a cutting-edge E-Gov Travel Service program, designed to deliver a unified travel and expense management service for all Federal civilian employees. Your contributions will be pivotal in supporting 124 government agencies, ensuring a seamless, secure experience that minimizes both transition costs and risks over the next 15 years.

Primary Duties:

Lead the design of secure, agency-level financial reporting functions. Define and structure reporting requirements, organizational hierarchies, and data-segregation rules. Implement row-level security, establish reconciliation criteria, and set acceptance measures. Maintain the integrity of the existing enterprise reporting baseline.

Required Skills:

5+ years of experience in reporting, analytics, data security, or functional data design. Proficiency in defining row-level security, role-based access, and organizational data segregation. Strong skills in SQL and data analysis. Experience with cloud data and BI/reporting platforms. Competence in performing source-to-report reconciliation and defining test cases. Ability to translate business reporting needs into functional and technical requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:
