Washington, DC Description:
Our client seeks a Systems Analyst to support business analysis activities. The role involves working collaboratively with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, designing solutions, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Gather and document business requirements through workshops, interviews, and surveys Analyze current processes and identify areas for improvement Create detailed process maps and flowcharts Develop use cases and user stories Coordinate with technical teams to ensure solution feasibility Validate solutions through user acceptance testing Maintain documentation and ensure knowledge transfer
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field 3+ years of experience in business analysis or systems analysis Strong understanding of business processes and workflow design Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and Visio Experience with requirements gathering tools and methodologies Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMP) Experience in the government or healthcare sector Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies
