Job Description:
Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) is a two -year community/technical college that offers more than 75 associate degree, diploma, and certificate programs for students who are either seeking quick entry into the workforce or desiring to transfer to a senior institution to pursue a bachelor's degree. HGTC offers three convenient campus locations in South Carolina, including Myrtle Beach, Conway and Georgetown. The Technology Solutions Department at Horry-Georgetown Technical College is seeking applications for a Banner Systems Analyst. This position plays a crucial role in developing, implementing, and maintaining the Ellucian Banner system, ensuring it effectively supports the college's operational and academic goals. The Banner Systems Analyst will possess modern programming skills and a deep understanding of the Ellucian Banner suite, contributing to the optimization of college processes and enhancing the user experience for both staff and students.
Advertised Salary:
$52,100 (Minimum)- $70,300 (Midpoint)
Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and work experience in the modification and maintenance of system programs, the design and development of system software, or the testing and debugging of system software. An associate's degree or a bachelor's degree in a related field may be substituted for the required work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of programming techniques and languages, systems analysis, application software, relational databases, operating systems, and computer hardware. Ability to analyze complex data and organize parts into logical systems; follow verbal and written instructions; and communicate effectively. Special Instructions to
