Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The SAP IBP Architect will be responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions, including Demand Planning, Supply Planning & Response, and Inventory Optimization. This role will lead the overall technical architecture, system integrations, and performance optimization efforts while collaborating with business and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-performing planning solutions that support enterprise transformation initiatives.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the design, configuration, and optimization of SAP IBP Demand Planning, Supply Planning & Response, and Inventory Optimization solutions.
- Lead technical architecture activities and integration efforts to enable high-volume, exception-driven planning processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional business and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable SAP IBP solutions.
- Drive system performance improvements and enhance responsiveness across large-scale planning environments.
- Design and support integrations using SAP CPI-DS, SDI, and RTI technologies.
- Ensure solution scalability, reliability, and alignment with organizational planning objectives.
- Support the phased implementation of SAP IBP and contribute to the overall Planning and Decision Center (PDC) transformation strategy.
- Provide architectural guidance and best practices throughout project lifecycles.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP IBP implementation, solution design, and architecture.
- Hands-on expertise in SAP IBP Demand Planning, Supply Planning & Response, and Inventory Optimization.
- Experience working with SAP CPI-DS, SDI, and RTI integration frameworks.
- Proven experience in high-volume, exception-based planning environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate business requirements and develop effective architectural solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with business users, functional teams, and technical teams.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience supporting large-scale supply chain planning transformations.
- Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain planning processes and best practices.
- Experience working in complex enterprise SAP landscapes.
CERTIFICATIONS
- SAP Integrated Business Planning (SAP IBP) certification preferred.
