Job Description

Loudoun Water has an opening for a Community Systems Process Analyst in the Community Systems Department. This position will be responsible for data analysis, process monitoring, and system troubleshooting. Experience with operation or design of small treatment facilities, specifically groundwater systems, is preferred.
Essential functions include:
Manage and support all groundwater monitoring efforts across the organization by coordinating and reporting groundwater levels and engaging staff, consultants, and other external stakeholders. Analyze data for the purpose of monitoring small treatment processes (water & wastewater). Identify opportunities for optimization, component verification, and support troubleshooting to identify and address process related issues. Develop, deploy and track strategies and initiatives for efficiency and improvements. Analyze and maintain data in PowerBI, Hach
WIMS, MS
Excel, and SCADA. Develop trends, dashboards, graphics, and control algorithms to enhance operations. Monitor process instrumentation to advise on data quality and accuracy. Coordinate with appropriate parties to ensure optimal operation and accuracy of process instrumentation. Assist in troubleshooting and tuning process control systems to include instrumentation and control programs. Support design and construction projects by providing operational information and data as requested. Support lab and regulatory testing and perform special sampling campaigns. Qualifications:
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in chemistry, biology, environmental science, or related engineering field is preferred. Five (5) years or more of progressively responsible experience in water and/or wastewater treatment is required.
Salary Range:
$85,000 - $115,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. Position will remain open until filled. EOE Apply online at www.loudounwater.org.
