Dominion Energy is seeking students to participate in our internship program. This position requires the ability to provide expert and creative solutions to user problems to ensure customer satisfaction and productivity

Research, resolve, and respond to complex questions received via telephone calls, customer generated tickets or emails, and provide support on electronic services, in accordance with current standards

The position provides support for software as described in triage documentation and has proficient knowledge of Windows11, and Office 365

The position requires close coordination with all IT infrastructure and support teams

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience Must have strong computer knowledge and skills with demonstrated ability to learn and utilize IT software programs

Must have strong customer service and problem solving skills; coursework or experience in PC hardware functionality, desktop imaging , network monitoring tools, Microsoft Office project support preferred

Proficient knowledge of Windows11, and Office 365

Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Must have good verbal and written communication skills; be able to work independently and as a team Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the assigned work location and have reliable transportationEducation Requirements Must be currently pursuing a 4-year Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Information Systems, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5.

Students should be a rising junior and have an anticipated graduation date 2028 or later.

$22.0 - $28.00 The hourly rate listed is the rate we anticipate paying for this position. If a range is listed, the actual hourly rate offered may vary based on factors such as the selected candidate's degree type, academic major, and/or school classification (e.g., sophomore, junior, senior).
