Job Title:
Configuration & Data Management Assistant Job Description The Configuration & Data Management Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the CDM team. This position involves performing accurate data entry, maintaining configuration records, and processing change documentation. The focus is on foundational CDM tasks to ensure that product data is complete, consistent, and properly controlled in accordance with internal procedures. Responsibilities Manage configuration baselines and product structures. Perform data entry across multiple systems. Create and distribute document and part numbers for multiple programs. Assist with root cause analysis for CDM issues. Interface with customers, auditors, and program teams. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Proficiency in administrative support and data entry. Experience with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, Jira, and PDM. Advanced Excel skills. Ability to breakdown processes and communicate effectively with developers. Experience with engineering drawings, BOMs, and digital product structures. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 0 to 2+ years of related experience, or 4+ years of experience in lieu of a degree. Proficiency in cross-checking information, organization, and updating databases. Capability to prioritize multiple requests across various systems. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with technical data. Experience with PLM/QMS systems such as Jira, TIPQA, SharePoint, PDM, and Business Central. Work Environment This position requires working 5 days a week in the Sterling, VA office. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Sterling, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.04 - $40.86/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
