Monday-Friday Overview:

Waste Connections is seeking a motivated and tech-savvy intern to join our IT team in Vancouver, WA for the summer. This hands-on internship offers a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience in IT operations, infrastructure setup, and user support within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:

As an IT Intern, you'll support our local and regional teams by assisting with: Setting up PCs and laptops for imaging and deployment Assisting with user setup in ManageEngine and Active Directory Coordinating with subcontractors, low-voltage contractors, and electricians on IT-related projects Performing basic setup and configuration of networking equipment Providing user support for Microsoft 365 Office Suite applications Assisting with Intune setup on iOS and Android devices

What We're Looking For:

Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field Strong interest in IT infrastructure and user support Basic understanding of networking and device management Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and mobile operating systems (iOS/Android) Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Why Waste Connections?
