Job Description

SEAL Systems Inc. SEAL Systems is a global software publisher and a leading provider of enterprise applications for Enterprise Output Management (EOM) and long‑term file format conversion. We empower our customers by integrating our solutions with platforms such as SAP, PLM, PDM, and ERP systems, helping them streamline mission‑critical document and process workflows. As a Project Engineer, you take end‑to‑end technical ownership of customer implementation projects—delivering SEAL Systems solutions in complex enterprise environments. You work at the intersection of software, infrastructure, and customer business processes, ensuring that each deployment is designed, implemented, documented, and handed over with high quality and reliability. What You'll Do Project Implementation & Technical Ownership Manage assigned customer projects from initial technical discovery through go‑live and handover to Support. Analyze customer requirements and translate them into solution architectures using SEAL Systems technologies. Plan and execute implementation tasks according to SEAL's project methodology, collaborating closely with Account and Technical Management. Integrate SEAL solutions with Windows, Unix, SAP, PLMs, CAD and more on-prem and cloud or hybrid. Customer Planning & Communication Serve as the primary technical contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct workshops, requirement clarification sessions, and technical planning meetings. Run regular status meetings with customers and internal teams (Project Management, Development, Support, Sales). Support system, integration, and user acceptance testing alongside customer teams. Coordinate and support migrations and go‑lives when required. Produce and maintain detailed technical documentation: architecture diagrams, configuration guides, runbooks, and test plans. What We're Looking For Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or comparable technical field—or equivalent 3-5 years of professional experience. Solid understanding of Windows Server; Linux knowledge is a plus. Knowledge of network fundamentals—TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, SMB/NFS file shares. Basic scripting or automation skills (PowerShell, Bash) or willingness to learn. Experience working directly with customers in consulting, implementation, or 2nd/3rd‑level support. Ability to manage multiple technical workstreams with a structured, reliable approach. Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages welcome. Nice to Have Hands‑on experience with SAP, CAD, and other PLM tools. Familiarity with enterprise output management systems, PDF conversion engines, and publishing workflows. Exposure to cloud environments (Azure, AWS) and hybrid architectures. Previous roles such as Project Engineer, Implementation Consultant, Technical Consultant, or Systems Engineer in a B2B software context.
