Job Description
Information Technology Analyst II - Radio Services Placer County's Telecommunications Division is hiring an IT Analyst II to support the County's public safety radio infrastructure. You'll help maintain the P-25 digital trunked radio system, conventional analog radio, microwave network, PSAP/dispatch centers, and SCADA systems — working closely with vendors, County staff, and internal customers to keep critical communications running smoothly. What you'll do: Support design, implementation, and maintenance of radio and telecom systems Troubleshoot RF, networking, and subscriber unit issues Assist with vendor coordination and project support Provide occasional after-hours support What you need: Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field (relevant experience/certifications may substitute) 2 years of professional level information technology experience comparable to Information Technology Analyst I with Placer County Valid driver's license (may be required) EOE
