IT Facilities Program Consultant Location:
Milpitas, CA (No remote option) Background The organization is seeking a senior IT Facilities Program Consultant to support global facilities and workplace initiatives. This role will act as the liaison between IT and Facilities, ensuring successful assessment and delivery of IT infrastructure, workplace technology, and facilities systems for new buildings, expansions, conference rooms, and data center buildouts across multiple regions. Roles and Responsibilities Serve as the primary liaison between IT, Facilities, and vendors
Lead and coordinate IT activities for:
New building construction and site expansions
Conference room and collaboration space build‑outs
Data center, MDF, and IDF room design and implementation
Smart workplace and modern facilities technology initiatives
Coordinate delivery across IT teams including:
Network (LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, structured cabling)
End User Computing and workplace technology
Unified Communications (Teams/Zoom, conferencing, telephony)
Data center infrastructure (power, cooling, racks, cabling)
Support and coordinate IT facilities applications, including:
Space planning and utilization tools
IWMS (Integrated Workplace Management Systems)
Conference room booking and smart workplace platforms
Understand and support project budgets, forecasting, and CAPEX planning, including cost tracking and variance awareness
Produce executive‑ready PowerPoint presentations, including program updates, dashboards, and steering committee materials. Leverage strong Excel skills, including pivots, data analysis, and reporting, to track progress, costs, and risks
Utilize enterprise project management tools such as: Primavera, Click Up, Microsoft Project
Define, document, and improve process workflows for facilities‑related IT delivery. Provide hands‑on project management: Drive plans, milestones, risks, and dependencies, Facilitate status meetings and steering committee discussions
Apply a digital, forward‑looking mindset, including use of AI and automation where applicable Required Qualifications 7-10+ years of experience in IT execution, delivery, or program/project management
Proven experience supporting facilities‑ or real‑estate-driven IT initiatives
Strong knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure and workplace technologies
Experience delivering projects across US, EMEA, and Asia
Demonstrated ability to work across multiple time zones
Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
Experience with IWMS, space planning, and smart facilities platforms
Consulting or staff‑augmentation experience in large global enterprises
Familiarity with AI‑enabled workplace or facilities technologies
