POSITION SUMMARY
The IT Infrastructure Analyst is responsible for the administration, monitoring, and continuous improvement of The Republic of Tea's technology infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, and cloud services. This role ensures secure and reliable operation of all infrastructure components supporting business operations and customer engagement.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Administer, maintain, and optimize server environments, including Windows Server, VMware, and SANs. Monitor infrastructure performance, capacity, and availability, resolving issues proactively. Implement and manage network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points. Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and hardware refreshes in alignment with change management processes. Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans. Evaluate and recommend infrastructure technologies to improve efficiency, security, and scalability. Provide second- and third-level technical support for escalated infrastructure issues. Maintain documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures. Support integration of cloud-based solutions such as Office 365 and Azure with on-premise systems. Participate in IT security initiatives including vulnerability management and remediation efforts. Respond to after-hours emergencies and participate in the on-call rotation as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure administration or similar role. Advanced knowledge of Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy management. Experience managing VMware environments including provisioning and troubleshooting. Intermediate networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP). Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery technologies. Experience maintaining security controls and compliance standards. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
VMware vSphere and vCenter. Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud administration. Cisco networking and Meraki platforms. Microsoft Office 365 administration. Storage solutions (NetApp, Dell EMC). Network security appliances (firewalls, IDS/IPS). PowerShell scripting and automation. Endpoint management (SCCM, Intune). VoIP and unified communications systems (3CX).
