The IT Application Analyst is responsible for the design, deployment, maintenance and support of enterprise applications and data integrations. The Application Analyst will also contribute to reporting and data analytics activities in collaboration with the enterpriseJob Functions:
Develops and maintains in depth understanding of clinical, operational or other specialized applications and systems. Collaborate with operational, clinical, and other business leaders to design workflows, reports and other application configurations that are optimized for the business need(s). Monitor workflows and usage to continuously improve applications; balancing ease-of-use, compliance, and data requirements. Lead testing of new and/or upgraded applications and integrations with deep collaboration with operational teams. Maintain an expert-level understanding of the vendor roadmaps for enhancements and future releases. Collaborate with vendors, infrastructure teams and business partners to integrate applications with other systems within the IT landscape. Collaborate with IT leaders to develop and maintain secure and reliable applications and data Provide Tier2/Tier3 user support for enterprise applications. Works with software vendors in implementing systems and resolving systems issues Create and maintain documentation on system configurations, standard operating procedures and protocols that build knowledge for IT support staff as well as business users. Other duties as assigned.Job Requirements:
3+ years of hands-on experience administrating Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and electronic Pre-hospital Clinical Record (ePCR) systems in an emergency services environment Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with 5+ years of Technology and Support experience in a complex and regulated environment. Ability to understand and assess technology systems and applications from both a technical and business function perspective. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and influence teams; and self-motivated Experience working in a healthcare, EMS or related field preferred. Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure Excellent verbal and written communications skills are essential. Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with all levels of personnel both internally and externally; e.g. leadership, executives, clients, vendors, and agencies. Ability to work in and constructively contribute to team work environment and meet stringent deadlines. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Attention to detail and follow through including the ability to document work. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of information is essential.Physical Skills:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk; sit; use hands and reach with hands and arms. Must have the manual dexterity to skillfully operate a computer keyboard and other standard office equipment, such as facsimile and telephone.
