Salary starting at $48,484.80 annually. Salary may be dependent upon the candidate's qualifications and experience. Create and maintain LAN objects, including LAN user accounts, LAN computer objects, LAN Security Groups, Shared Mailboxes, Distribution Lists. Troubleshoot and resolve VOIP systems and hardware, WIFI systems and hardware, cellular hardware, badge reader systems, camera/security systems, personal computer hardware, printer, print server, and fax hardware problems. Maintenance of systems would include diagnoses of failures, solution identification, and solution implementation.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
  • If a driver's license is required, a copy must be sent to your recruiter following the interview.
  • High school diploma or equivalent and one year advising and assisting computer users in a distributed computing environment.
Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency. Advanced computer knowledge and training in office applications. Valid Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prefer knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Management Software, VoIP systems, telephony systems, Microsoft certifications.

Full Position Description:
25% E Create and maintain LAN objects, including LAN user accounts, LAN computer objects, LAN Security Groups, Shared Mailboxes, Distribution Lists. Troubleshoot and resolve VOIP systems and hardware, WIFI systems and hardware, cellular hardware, badge reader systems, camera/security systems, personal computer hardware, printer, print server, and fax hardware problems. Maintenance of systems would include diagnoses of failures, solution identification, and solution implementation. 25% E Identify appropriate hardware and software for end-users, install approved hardware and software, and diagnose hardware and software failures. As part of the diagnostic process, hardware and software failures should include solution identification, testing impact to end-users, and distributing those solutions. The effect of the solutions should cause minimal downtime for end-users. Changes to systems that affect users should be communicated prior to change. 20% E Provide user guidance with a focus on Customer Service as a member of the Regional IT helpdesk. Advise users in selecting the most appropriate software application for a specific task to accomplish agency goals. Provide end-users with the proper user access to agency networks and applications. Utilize complex remote desktop management software for end-user support, software installation, data collection, and pc management. Document all problem incidents and requests within the agency's existing ticketing system and details about the solutions they identified and implemented to resolve the problems or requests. 10% E Document any adds/changes/deletions to the region LAN and Agency's technical assets. Inventory of Agency assets includes all owned assets as well as all leased assets within the region. Tracking of leased assets should consist of reports of assets expiring and being returned to the vendor and an inventory of newly leased assets to the region. Owned assets should include warranty information as well as repair/problem history of assets. 10% E Provide analysis of IT equipment and software usage in the region and determine future needs to make recommendations to TSS regarding placement, replacement, and purchase or upgrade of equipment and software. 10% E Installs and demonstrates the use of all HS-EBIT hardware and standard software packages in a classroom environment, one-on-one type training, and any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
