Job Description

Hiring Department Division of Information Technology Job Description This employee is responsible for coordinating and performing telecommunication moves, adds and changes for the university as well as hospital and clinics. They will be the liaison between the customer, engineers and technicians. Employee will activate/deactivate/troubleshoot data port connections per service requests and incident reports. Employee will keep extensive documentation for phone line and data ports up to date. Process work tickets communicating with engineers, warehouse, technicians, and Networking department. This includes software instructions for engineers, equipment needed for customer, detailed installation instructions, network knowledge and billing creation. Other duties as assigned Employee will need to have the following attributes: great customer service skills, accuracy in work a must, knowledge in Microsoft applications, work well within a team and with other teams, self-motivated, quick to learn proprietary applications. Shift Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00 pm Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field. At least five years of related experience. Great Customer service skills, knowledge in Microsoft applications, self-motivated. Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field. Anticipated Hiring Range Salary Range:
$19.25 - $22.00 Commensurate with experience
