Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Workday Data Management Specialist to support accurate entry, review, and maintenance of employee job and compensation data within our HR systems. This role will focus heavily on data accuracy, consistency, and timely processing while supporting HR partners and employees with routine transactions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on Workday experience, strong Excel skills, and a data-driven mindset with excellent attention to detail. Responsibilities Enter, audit, and validate employee job and compensation data within Workday. Process employee lifecycle transactions including onboarding, job changes, compensation updates, manager changes, transfers, and separations. Review transactions to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely processing. Support HR partners, managers, and employees with routine HR data transactions. Maintain high standards of data accuracy and confidentiality when handling employee information. Perform data checks and light analysis using Microsoft Excel, including formulas, filtering, and pivot tables. Apply knowledge of HR systems and data structures to understand the impact of employee transactions. Support the HR Solutions team by balancing workloads and maintaining operational continuity. Document processes and updates to support team reference materials. Prioritize assigned work, follow up promptly, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Identify opportunities for process improvements and help maintain efficient data management practices. Qualifications Workday experience is required. Prior experience with
HRIS, HR
data management, or data entry is preferred. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas, filtering, and pivot tables. Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality when working with employee information. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with HR partners and team members. Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Positive, adaptable, and curious approach to learning new processes and tools. PeopleSoft experience is a plus.
