Responsibilities The Epic Trainer is responsible for conducting training for clinical and non-clinical end users in Epic under the direction of the supervisor. Training is typically conducted in the classroom as well as in the practice. The trainer is responsible for achieving an in-depth understanding of the software, policies, and procedures, workflows, and must be credentialed in the application that they are teaching. Responsible for the setup and breakdown of the training classes they are scheduled to facilitate, including inventorying and distributed participant supplies. Responsible for quality control, including administering a proficiency assessment and class evaluation at the end of each session, and forwarding ideas to improve the effectiveness of the training to the rest of the team.
