Job Description
MTSI is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst and Technical Developer with 8-10 years of experience in technical data analytics, systems engineering, and enterprise data environments—preferably within the Department of Defense (DoD) and SAP-based ecosystems. The ideal candidate will serve as a senior technical contributor, developing automated, decision-quality metrics and data products that directly support the Portfolio Advancement Enterprise (PAE) organization. This role requires strong analytical acumen, advanced development capabilities, and an ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams across the Office of the Secretary of the Air Force (OSW), Department of the Air Force (DAF), and other stakeholder organizations. Key Responsibilities Apply 8-10 years of technical data analytics and systems engineering experience to develop, refine, and instantiate critical enterprise metrics that objectively measure PAE portfolio performance using automated, authoritative data sources. Serve as the technical lead for the PAE Scorecard effort, collaborating with OSW and DAF teams to build, evolve, and maintain data products aligned with PAE Lines of Effort. Analyze complex DoD/DAF database structures and acquisition enterprise systems to identify and validate authoritative sources of data for directorate- and department-level implementations. Design, build, and maintain complex, decision-ready Power BI dashboards, including advanced DAX logic, to support strategic metrics and leadership-driven priorities. Develop and manage SharePoint architectures, including sites, lists, permissions, content structures, and automated workflows to provide centralized data ingestion points and intuitive user interfaces for program office stakeholders. Utilize advanced coding and scripting techniques—such as Python, SQL, and Power Automate—to create automated data pipelines and metric collection processes from systems like Advana, significantly reducing manual reporting requirements. Required Qualifications Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret Bachelor's degree in engineering, data science, computer science, analytics, or related field (master's preferred) 8-10 years of experience in data analytics, systems engineering, or technical development roles Experience with SAP environments and DoD enterprise data systems Expertise with Power BI, including advanced DAX modeling Demonstrated ability to analyze complex databases and architect end-to-end data solutions Proficiency in Python, SQL, Power Automate, and other automation frameworks Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with senior leaders and technical teams Desired Qualifications Experience working within Air Force acquisition organizations Familiarity with Advana, DAVE, or other DoD enterprise data platforms Experience with cloud platforms or enterprise integration technologies SharePoint administration or development experience. #LI-BBS1 #Hiring #Hiring #NowHiring #EngineeringJobs #Engineering #AerospaceJobs #DefenseJobs #TechCareers #ClearedJobs #
