Pay:

$25 per hour Resident Reach Services is seeking an experienced IT & Installation Consultant to provide technical guidance and hands-on support to our installation team. This hybrid role includes assistance by phone or video and on-site support as needed. The ideal candidate has experience with low-voltage cabling, security cameras, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and TV mounting, and can clearly guide technicians through installations and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

Guide technicians through Cat5e/Cat6 cable routing, termination, and testing. Assist with data jacks, patch panels, PoE switches, and network connections. Support security camera installation, configuration, and troubleshooting, including NVR/DVR systems and camera access. Assist with POS installation and troubleshooting, including terminals, receipt printers, barcode scanners, payment devices, and connectivity. Provide guidance on TV mounting, wall types, mounting hardware, cable management, and connected equipment. Troubleshoot technical issues by phone, video, or on-site. Recommend appropriate tools, materials, and safe installation methods. Provide practical training to help our team complete jobs accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with the installation and support services listed above. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to explain technical steps clearly. Experience guiding technicians with different skill levels. Ability to identify when an issue requires on-site assistance or manufacturer support. Relevant certifications are preferred but not required.

Schedule & Compensation:

This is an as-needed, hybrid contract position paying $25 per hour . Consultations and on-site visits will be scheduled based on project needs and availability. Scope and authorized hours will be agreed upon before work begins.
