Job Summary ND Global Consulting Services, Inc. (NDGCS) is seeking an experienced IT Healthcare Consultant

•Business Analyst

•Advanced with a strong background in healthcare and medical coding. This role will support Medicaid operations and policy teams by serving as a subject matter expert for medical coding, business requirements, and MMIS-related processes. The consultant will research and analyze medical code changes, provide recommendations to stakeholders, and support ongoing MMIS enhancements and future system replacement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Support annual and quarterly updates to ICD-10 and

CPT/HCPCS

codes . Review coding changes and determine their impact and scope. Prepare code-change listings for Reference Administration and Medicaid Program teams. Conduct meetings with agency personnel, stakeholders, and process owners.

Serve as an SME for:

Medical coding methodologies Medicaid policy CPT/HCPCS and ICD-10 coding Related claims-processing concepts Research and analyze business rules, requirements, and models. Maintain business requirements, rules, and documentation repositories. Support process documentation and training-content updates. Participate in future MMIS replacement project activities as needed. Assist with claims escalation research once fully proficient in the role.

Required Qualifications 3+ years of healthcare experience . Strong knowledge of ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding and translation methodologies . 3+ years of extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and medical terminology . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple work efforts simultaneously. Strong understanding of business and functional requirements. Strong collaboration and stakeholder-management skills.

Required Certification Candidates must currently hold one of the following: CPC

•Certified Professional Coder , or CCS

•Certified Coding Specialist .

$50.00

•$56.00 per hour
