The Division of Technology Services (DTS) is looking for a motivated individual who is a talented self-starter and excellent communicator to work with management and leadership staff to coordinate software asset management systems and processes with DTS and customer agencies and assist in software licensing day to day functions. This position will also assist on our PC Lifecycle Management project to assist agencies with onboarding from a software perspective. The chosen candidate for this job must have the ability to understand technical solutions and communicate effectively with personnel at all levels. Must also be able to work through complex processes to determine solutions. While not required, it is important that someone in this position understands and has work experience with software licensing models and basics of asset management. Please note that this job does not include any development/coding. Key Responsibilities Assist in the PC Life Cycle Management (PCLM) implementation with DTS and customer agencies to collect, verify and record software assets Manages software asset management for select enterprise software by assigning new users to the software dashboards, tracking users in the software asset management system, auditing information for correctness, removing users as needed, and ensuring accuracy of billing for software being used Maintains appropriate software levels for select enterprise software and manages purchase requests for renewals and additional license requests as needed Negotiating pricing with vendors for new software products and renewals Strong written and oral communication skills to coordinate with customer agencies Develops logs and/or reports Assists customers in finding products, making selections and purchasing items. Understanding current processes and systems and how to use available technical systems to come up with creative solutions Understand day-to-day processes to assist other DTS software coordinators as needed Qualifications Ability to communicate professionally to C-Level employees Customer service oriented Self-motivated and ability to work independently Strong organization skills Ability to negotiate for an equitable outcome Ability to use analytical data to creatively promote initiatives Preferred Qualifications/Skills Experience with management of enterprise software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Sign, Microsoft, Atlassian, GitHub, GitLab, Lucid, Zoom, or Docker preferred About the Role Location
