The Global Trainee Program is an intensive two-year program (full-time) that supports development of promising professionals with the potential to become future leaders in Tenaris.

A Global Trainee will build expertise, engage with colleagues around the world, and demonstrate performance while learning about Tenaris' culture and industrial heritage leaving them prepared to take the next steps in their career.
Purpose:
Supports the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of IT infrastructure, systems, and technologies to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient operations across Tenaris facilities in the United States and Canada. Assists with deploying new technologies, maintaining server infrastructure, monitoring system performance, and providing technical support while following global IT standards and best practices.
Main Responsibilities:
Assist in the implementation, configuration, and support of Windows server infrastructure and related technologies before, during, and after deployment. Support server hardware installation, maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting to ensure reliable system performance. Administer and maintain virtualized environments, performing routine maintenance and supporting infrastructure improvements. Monitor systems, applications, and infrastructure performance, identifying and escalating issues to minimize downtime and service interruptions. Support the implementation and deployment of enterprise applications following established IT procedures, standards, and best practices. Assist in resolving infrastructure incidents and fulfilling scheduled changes while meeting agreed service level expectations, including occasional on-call support. Maintain operating systems, software updates, and security controls to ensure systems remain secure, compliant, and up to date. Collaborate with Automation, Maintenance, ADFI, Supply Chain, and Global IT teams to support business initiatives and infrastructure projects. Document system configurations, operating procedures, and completed tasks to maintain accurate operating manuals and technical documentation. Comply with Tenaris policies, procedures, management standards, and all applicable laws and regulations. Protect company facilities, equipment, and other assigned physical and technology resources from damage, theft, or misuse. Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility. Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (KSAs): Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Knowledge of Windows Server administration, virtualization technologies, and general systems and network administration. Basic understanding of enterprise application support and server hardware management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills. Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing business needs. Strong planning, organization, and time management skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional and global teams.
On-Call Responsibilities:
Occasional on-call support (less than 25% of the time)
