Job Description
Overview The IT Asset Analyst II position assists with vendor contracts, tracking hardware and software assets, maintaining audit-ready records, supporting purchasing decisions, and working closely with IT, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Vendors and Internal Departments. This role requires strong attention to detail, advanced Excel skills, strong communication, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Assists with tracking IT vendor contracts, software licensing agreements, warranties, and maintenance contracts throughout their life cycle
- Support procurement and purchasing activities, including identifying volume purchasing opportunities, evaluating total cost and supporting contract negotiation decisions
- Assist with vendor on boarding
- Monitor and maintain hardware/software assets from procurement through deployment, and life cycle planning
- Maintain accurate IT asset records, inventory records, licensing documentation, warranty records, and purchase history
- Identify duplicate spending, cost saving opportunities, and procurement improvements
- Provide responsive support to internal departments while balancing service needs with compliance and process requirements
- Gather information to process invoices by searching for Purchase Orders or Contracts numbers
- Coordinating with IT Staff and Internal Departments for validation of invoice processing
- Submit invoices with accurate payment information to Accounts Payable
- Ensure all payment processing adhere to regulatory standards
- Generate and maintain reports related to vendors, contracts, purchases, licensing, and compliance
- Mange multiple work streams, prioritizing tasks and completing deliverables in a high-pressure environment

- 5:00 pm Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is a schedule requirement

- High School Diploma/GED
- Three (3) Years of Experience Licenses and Certifications Required
- A valid driver's license is required; successful out-of-state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire
- Must Pass Criminal Justice Information System Background (CJIS) Check Employment Testing Employment is contingent on passing any post-offer pre-employment screening as listed below:
