Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physical Scientist / Laboratory Scientist / Scientific Program Analyst / Technical Support Scientist to join our dynamic team. Duties Conduct environmental field sampling activities, including collection of soil, water, air, and waste samples in accordance with OSHA safety standards and project protocols. Perform laboratory analyses utilizing advanced techniques and equipment to evaluate environmental samples for contaminants and compliance parameters. Develop detailed technical reports and documentation based on research findings, ensuring clarity and accuracy for regulatory submissions and client communication. Support permitting phases by preparing documentation, assisting with permit applications, and ensuring compliance with environmental laws and regulations. Utilize GIS software such as ArcGIS to analyze spatial data related to environmental assessments and site investigations. Assist in project planning, scheduling, and management activities to ensure timely completion of scientific tasks within scope and budget. Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to communicate findings effectively and address technical questions. Maintain thorough records of data collection procedures, laboratory results, and analysis processes for quality assurance and audit readiness. Stay current with developments in environmental law, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices related to environmental consulting. Support waste management efforts including wastewater treatment processes and hazardous waste handling in compliance with OSHA standards. Requirements Bachelor's degree in chemistry, physical science, materials science, forensic science, biology, environmental science, engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline 0 to 10 years of relevant experience supporting laboratory operations, scientific testing, technical programs, equipment management, or applied research and development Basic understanding of laboratory practices, scientific methods, data collection, and technical documentation Ability to assist with laboratory and field test planning, execution, observation, and reporting Ability to analyze and summarize scientific or technical data using Microsoft Excel or similar software Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to translate technical information into clear language for technical and non-technical audiences Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams, including chemists, physicists, engineers, logisticians, program managers, acquisition specialists, data analysts, and field operators Familiarity with laboratory equipment, calibration records, maintenance logs, inventory tracking, or asset management processes Ability to support multiple concurrent tasks, track action items, maintain organized records, and meet deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including

Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Desired Qualifications:

Experience supporting federal laboratory, research and development, test and evaluation, or technology transition programs Familiarity with laboratory quality practices, chain-of-custody concepts, safety documentation, or controlled equipment procedures Experience preparing SOPs, technical reports, test reports, briefings, or acquisition-related technical inputs Familiarity with data analysis, visualization, dashboard tools, GIS products, or modeling and simulation outputs Experience with inventory management systems, government property controls, logistics coordination, or equipment lifecycle management Understanding of systems engineering, requirements management, configuration management, or test and evaluation processes Ability to support field demonstrations, operational assessments, or technology deployment activities
