Competitive Range Solutions requires the expertise of a Senior Subject Matter Expert talented person to lead efforts supporting Federal Defense customers, under the direction of Senior and Executive management. The candidate must reference their ability and experience in working in a Department of War (DoW) customer environment and effective integration with a government multi-contractor team.
Duties:
Provide technical refreshment and senior engineering support for installation and integration of equipment for a Classified Satellite System for the Department of War program. This work shall be comprised of on and off-site engineering support and services locally and via temporary duty locations in support of the Secretary of Defense Communications Office. Tasks shall be of varying nature and includes troubleshooting, engineering design support, circuit status reporting, and integration support with
DOW/DISA
Classified programs support, operational test and evaluation, and network (including associated equipment) assessment to achieve operational status for the executive transport aircraft. The Contractor shall provide engineering recommendations to the Aircraft Management Offices (PMO's) concerning network architecture issues and technology insertion initiatives to improve or upgrade network capabilities. The contractor shall track changes in classified DOW Classified Satellite System Network and/or system including but not limited to configurations of equipment, operational capabilities, and operating procedures. The contractor shall periodically update and publish associated engineering documents so the community of interest with the most up to date with the DOW system network configuration, system description or architecture. This task area may provide an evaluation of commercially available products that may be utilized to support the DOW system's network requirements.
Qualifications/Experience:
- At least 10 years of experience
