Duration:
6 month contract to hire, will convert perm after 6 months
Must Haves:
  • Associates with 10 years of experience OR Bachelors and 8 years of experience OR Mastes with 6 years of experience
  • Experience designing, configuring, and maintaining VTC system using Crestron equipment
  • Experience with wireframing
  • Familiarity with AudoCad or Visio for design
  • Experience designing AV buildouts
  • Experience troubleshooting both Crestron equipment and existing Cisco hardware
  • Must have Public Trust or higher clearance
Day-To-Day:
The engineer is responsible for the daily support and maintenance of Cisco video conferencing systems and Crestron controlled conference rooms across executive and enterprise meeting spaces. Their work includes configuring, programming, and troubleshooting Crestron control systems and touch panels, as well as administering Cisco VTC infrastructure—such as codecs, endpoints, and call control—to ensure secure, reliable conferencing across multiple sites. They manage interoperability between Cisco conferencing platforms and Microsoft Teams, assist with Microsoft Teams Rooms and Surface Hub devices, and work closely with federal stakeholders to ensure all collaboration technologies meet security, compliance, and operational requirements. The role also involves coordinating with Service Desk and Tier III teams on incident resolution and root cause analysis, supporting conference room upgrades and technology refreshes, performing testing and production deployments, and maintaining accurate technical documentation, SOPs, and configuration standards.
