Job Description

Position Summary Seeking experienced Telephony Network Engineers to provide advanced administration, engineering, troubleshooting, and project support for enterprise telephony and unified communications environments. The role will serve as a technical escalation point and support voice infrastructure, routing, E911, VoIP, and telephony systems. Key Responsibilities Administer enterprise telephony, VoIP, voicemail, IVR, call center, and unified communications systems. Handle move, add, change, disconnect, and service requests. Configure and maintain telephony hardware, media gateways, phones, and safety devices. Troubleshoot voice quality, call routing, carrier connectivity, and E911 issues. Analyze vector routing, ARS routing tables, dial plans, and route patterns. Support telephony network projects and lead technical implementation tasks. Work with vendors on circuit provisioning and outage resolution. Provide advanced incident resolution and coordinate multi-team outage response. Monitor systems to maximize uptime and improve service resiliency. Develop technical documentation, system diagrams, standards, and knowledge-base articles. Identify automation opportunities and support implementation. Follow established Incident Management and Change Management processes. Required Skills 2+ years Avaya on-premise PBX 2+ years VoIP and Unified Communications administration 2+ years SIP, RTP, QoS, dial plans, call routing, and voice gateways 2+ years troubleshooting voice quality, carrier connectivity, call routing, and E911 2+ years telecommunications infrastructure, including SBCs, voice circuits, and PSTN integration Advanced systems administration knowledge Strong communication, documentation, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Preferred Enterprise cloud telephony implementation and support Experience migrating from on-premise telephony to cloud-based platforms Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Additional Requirements Must be a US Citizen or Legal Resident . Candidate must be a South Carolina resident or willing to relocate to South Carolina at their own expense. Fully onsite; remote work is not available. Ability to participate in on-call rotation and occasional after-hours maintenance/incident response. Strong ability to work with vendors, management, users, and technical teams.
