Job Description

Seeking an experienced Telecommunications Engineer to support the voice, VoIP, Unified Communications, and telecommunications infrastructure for a large pediatric healthcare organization.
Position Details Location:
Fort Worth, TX -
Onsite Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00
PM On-Call:
Rotation approximately every 6 weeks
Duration:
6 month contract to hire What You'll Do Configure, repair, install, and support telecommunications voice and data systems. Analyze and troubleshoot telecommunications and VoIP infrastructure issues. Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support to users. Configure and support enterprise telecommunications systems. Perform Tier 1 network switching and routing troubleshooting. Develop, test, maintain, install, and deploy technologies supporting technical infrastructure. Support telecommunications hardware, software, and standard architecture environments. Partner with IT teams and users to provide technical guidance on telecommunications technologies and standards. Candidates must have expertise in at least ONE of the following: Avaya Aura - CM, SM, SMGR, AES, or AADS AudioCodes SBC / Gateway Ribbon SBC Genesys Cloud NetSapiens Candidates should also have experience with: VoIP, SIP, PBX, IP telephony, or Unified Communications Telecommunications voice and data systems Telecom infrastructure troubleshooting Network switching and routing troubleshooting Voice/data system configuration, installation, and support Technical support in an enterprise IT environment Experience with Nortel, Vocera, and/or ShoreTel is highly relevant. Education Candidates must meet one of the following: High School Diploma/GED + 3 years of direct experience , OR Associate's Degree in Information Systems + 2 years of direct experience
Preferred:
BA/BS in Information Systems, Business, or related field and relevant IT certifications. Additional Requirements Must be authorized to work in the United States on a W-2 basis without current or future sponsorship . Must be local to the Fort Worth area and able to work onsite.
