Lindsey Bartlett | lbartlett@smithhanley.com A boutique market research and consulting firm is looking to add two researchers to its growing team. These roles are ideal for early-career market researchers who want broad exposure, meaningful client interaction, and the opportunity to develop across both qualitative and quantitative research. The firm works primarily with pharma / life sciences clients, with a growing portfolio of sustainability and environmental work. Unlike larger organizations where researchers can get siloed into one piece of the process, you'll have exposure to projects from initial research design through analysis, reporting, and client delivery. What You'll Do Support qualitative and quantitative research projects from kickoff through delivery Help develop surveys, discussion guides, and other research materials Coordinate fieldwork, vendors, timelines, and project logistics Analyze data and identify meaningful themes, trends, and insights Build reports and presentations that tell a clear story Participate in client meetings, presentations, and working sessions Partner closely with senior researchers and consultants Manage multiple studies and priorities at once What They're Looking For 2-5 years of primary market research experience Agency or research consulting experience strongly preferred Exposure to both qualitative and quantitative methodologies Strong analytical, writing, and storytelling skills Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines Detail-oriented while keeping the bigger business question in mind Curious, collaborative, and eager to continue developing as a researcher Pharma / healthcare experience is a plus, but not required Survey development, analysis, or qualitative moderation experience is a plus Culture & Environment Collaborative, smart, and ego-free Small-team environment with meaningful senior-level exposure Everyone contributes to client work Fast decision-making with minimal layers Modern, open "think tank" office environment Real work-life balance with predictable busy periods Compensation & Benefits $80K-$110K base + discretionary bonus Competitive benefits including medical, 401(k) match, PTO, and parental leave Annual fully expensed company retreat (+1 included) This is an in office environment Monday and Wednesday at a minimum, in Norwalk CT.
