This role combines UX design with hands-on front-end development. This role will require strong back-end knowledge for End-to-End Capabilities. A UI/UX developer typically approaches problems from a human-centered design perspective (wireframes, accessibility, user flows), then applies their coding skills to make it work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop responsive web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Build front-end applications using modern frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
- Translate complex technical workflows and user needs into simple, efficient interfaces.
- Use Figma to create, review, and maintain UI designs and design patterns.
- Apply WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) and Section 508 accessibility principles.
- Develop consistent design systems, reusable components, and style guides.
- Work with backend developers, product owners, and end users to improve usability and functionality.
- Gather user feedback and use it to improve the overall user experience.
- Support front-end performance, testing, and deployment.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 4-8 years of experience, or Master's with 2-6 years.
- Strong experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with Angular, React, Vue, or similar modern UI frameworks.
- Experience designing user-centered interfaces for complex applications.
- Strong understanding of UX, usability, interaction design, and accessibility.
- Experience with Figma or similar design tools.
- Understanding of WCAG/Section 508 requirements.
- Experience working in Linux-based environments.

S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI and ability to successfully pass a polygraph. Nice to
