A User Interface or User Experience (UI / UX) Designer assists with technology design to make products easier for people to use. Determines user preferences and assesses the process that users follow to access product functions; develops and tests new design models, and incorporates findings in to improved product design. Researches the behavior of internet users and consumers, compiles information about the target audience for a site, and develops website layout, design and technology features that improve accessibility and value for users.

Job Description
The ideal candidate is naturally curious, user-focused, and eager to learn. They should possess a strong portfolio demonstrating problem-solving abilities, an understanding of UX fundamentals, and experience or interest in leveraging AI-powered design tools to enhance the design process.
Responsibilities
- Design intuitive, accessible, and scalable user experiences using Figma or similar design tools.
- Work within established design systems to maintain consistency across products.
- Support user research activities, including gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing findings.
- Translate user insights and research outcomes into actionable product improvements.
- Leverage AI-powered design and prototyping tools to accelerate workflows and innovation.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and business stakeholders.
- Communicate design concepts, decisions, and recommendations effectively.
- Support accessibility and usability best practices, including WCAG and Section 508 standards. Qualifications
- 1-3 years of UX design experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UX process, problem-solving, and user-centered design thinking.
- Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Understanding of UX principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Knowledge of WCAG and Section 508 accessibility standards.
- Experience with or interest in AI-assisted design tools.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Coachable mindset with a strong desire to learn and grow. Top Must-Haves
- 1-3 years of UX design experience.
- Strong UX portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work.
- Figma or equivalent design tools.
- User-centered design mindset and problem-solving skills.
- Accessibility knowledge (WCAG, Section 508).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Interest in AI-powered design and prototyping tools. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting enterprise-level applications.
- Exposure to user research, usability testing, and design systems.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled design workflows and emerging UX technologies.
- Experience working in Agile product development environments.
