Job Summary The UX/UI Designer will shape user experiences for Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, agentic AI, and digital solutions developed for the Energy GBU. The role will partner with business stakeholders, product owners, subject matter experts, AI engineers, software developers, and data teams to translate complex EPC workflows into intuitive, accessible, and trusted digital experiences. The successful candidate will combine design thinking, enterprise UX expertise, and a practical understanding of AI-enabled workflows to help solutions achieve strong user adoption and measurable business value. Key Responsibilities User Experience Strategy & Discovery Perform human-centered design activities for AI initiatives. Conduct stakeholder interviews, observation sessions, and discovery workshops to understand business objectives, user needs, current workflows, pain points, exceptions, and adoption barriers. Develop user personas, journey maps, service blueprints, workflow maps, and experience principles. Translate research findings into actionable design requirements and prioritized experience opportunities. UX/UI Design & Prototyping Create information architecture, user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma or a comparable design platform. Design responsive experiences for AI assistants, copilots, agentic workflows, enterprise web applications, operational dashboards, and mobile scenarios. Define navigation, states, interaction patterns, notifications, exception handling, and feedback mechanisms. Prepare design specifications and collaborate with engineering teams through implementation. AI Experience Design Design conversational experiences, prompt interactions, review-and-approval flows, and AI-generated content experiences. Help users understand AI recommendations, sources, confidence, limitations, and required human decisions. Design for responsible human oversight, transparency, trust, and safe recovery from errors. Partner with product and engineering teams to balance usability, technical feasibility, data readiness, and business value. Design System & Governance Establish and maintain reusable patterns, components, templates, and design guidance. Promote visual and interaction consistency across products while aligning with enterprise standards. Apply accessibility, responsive design, and inclusive design practices throughout the product lifecycle. Contribute to design reviews and approval of UX artifacts before development. Validation, Adoption & Continuous Improvement Plan and conduct concept testing, usability testing, prototype reviews, and user feedback sessions. Partner with product owners during User Acceptance Testing to validate end-to-end experience quality. Use feedback, adoption measures, and usage insights to continuously improve deployed experiences. Support demonstrations, user enablement, and change-management activities for new AI solutions. Required Skills Portfolio demonstrating user research, journey mapping, interaction design, prototyping, visual design, and measurable design outcomes. Hands-on proficiency with Figma , Sketch, or comparable tools. Experience collaborating with Agile product, engineering, data, and business teams. Working knowledge of responsive design, design systems, accessibility standards, and usability testing. Preferred Skills Experience designing AI, Generative AI, conversational AI, copilots, or agent-based solutions. Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, or Azure services. Knowledge of engineering, procurement, construction, project controls, estimating, supplier management, contracts, or related EPC workflows. Experience with enterprise data visualization and operational dashboard design. Familiarity with responsible AI, explainability, privacy, security, and human-in-the-loop design considerations. Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. Required Experience Five or more years of professional UX/UI design experience, preferably with enterprise software or complex workflow-based applications.
