Our mission is clear:

to create a fun, safe, and exciting space for kids and gamers of all ages. As we prepare to open our doors, we're looking for enthusiastic, customer-oriented individuals to join our team and help shape the exceptional experience we want to provide to our future guests. We also host birthday parties and company events nearly every weekend. Candidates must be okay with working in a busy environment with loud music and lots of energy from kids age 5

We are looking for a passionate, patient, and outgoing Game Master to join our team and ensure top-tier customer interaction for our guests, especially children. The ideal candidate will have a natural ability to connect with kids, demonstrate a high level of patience, and deliver top-notch service in a fun and energetic environment. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring our guests feel comfortable, engaged, and excited throughout their visit. As a Game Master, you'll be responsible for setting up customers on VR headsets, PlayStation consoles, and computers, while offering game instruction, guidance, encouragement, and friendly conversation. We're seeking someone who can go the extra mile to help customers, anticipate their needs, and create an unforgettable experience for them. As a Party Host, you'll be responsible for leading birthday parties, making announcements, keeping the party on schedule, and being the intermediary between the party parents and staff. We're looking for someone who is social, extroverted, entertaining, and willing to be responsible for a group of 10 or more. This role is achieved with on-shift training and practice prior to hosting a party. As a Shift Lead, you'll be responsible for running the store alone, being open and able to know everything, monitor breaks, opening and closing, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the open hours of the store! We're looking for someone who is open to grow from a Game Master into a Shift Lead by proving their worth and trustability. This role is achieved with on-shift training and achievement. Please note, Shift Lead is NOT a position you will be directly hired into but instead will work your way to being a Shift Lead after proving your potential and skill. Promotion will occur after showing your ability to run all stations and passing all required skill tests. The timeline in which this occurs will be based on your ability to absorb and retain information.

Responsibilities:

Offer friendly and helpful customer service Set up VR headsets, gaming computers, and PlayStation consoles Provide clear game guidance and assistance to customers, especially children Maintain a positive attitude, work well with your team, and stay composed under pressure during busy times Uphold a clean and organized gaming space Monitor and ensure a safe environment for all guests Troubleshoot any technical issues with the equipment during gameplay Ensure all equipment is working properly and be aware of any technical problems

Qualifications:

Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to interact with kids in a fun, patient, and approachable manner Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Interest in gaming and technology

Preferred:

Previous experience working with children Ability to troubleshoot basic gaming or VR related technical issues Advanced technical skills in troubleshooting and repairing gaming consoles and PCs, including disassembly and component-level fixes Previous supervisor or leadership experience

Party Host:

While not immediate, training and advancement to Party Host is offered to all staff, but the team will require 2+ at a later date. Ideal candidates should be comfortable and confident speaking in front of groups and crowds. As a party host, you'll have the chance to earn tips, but this promotion will come after demonstrating success in the Game Master role and meeting performance goals. Keep in Mind This is an active, hospitality-based position where you'll be on your feet, walking and working continuously throughout your entire shift, up to 8 hours. You'll need to maintain a high level of energy and focus throughout the day. Please note, we only accept applications from individuals who are 18 years of age or older.
