Escape Room Game Master Ferndale, MI Job Details Part-time $14 - $16 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Guest relations Phone communication Customer service Basic math Disinfection procedures Decision making Conflict management Cleaning Computer skills Events management Appointment scheduling Guest services Phone call management Cash handling Entry level Full Job Description As a Game Master you will be required to run games via a computer and communicate effectively with the guests-which also includes being comfortable taking control of situations and potentially telling guests to stop doing an action that may be unacceptable (some guests are rough with our game pieces when they are excited). You are also responsible for light cleaning: Vacuuming, dusting, changing out toilet paper and paper towels, and cleaning the escape rooms with disinfectant. This is primarily a fun position where you get to interact with people. You must be comfortable speaking in front of small groups and giving clear directions, and working by yourself at times. Effective multi-tasking skills are a must! You will be required to answer the phone, make appointments and run a game at the same time. Problem solving skills are required, meaning you must be able to think on your feet and make decisions in real time (think: when a puzzle in the room breaks and how to pivot).

Qualifications:

You must have at least 1 position on your resume that you were employed for a minimum of 1 year to be considered. You must have 3 professional references to be considered.
