About the Role We are a Las Vegas based game studio born on the Roblox platform and built by people who genuinely love this community. As a community-first studio, we care as much about our worlds and players as we do about the people building them. That mindset has helped us grow into one of the most innovative teams on Roblox, pushing boundaries, shaping culture, and setting new standards across the platform. With over 8B game visits, 44M monthly players, and a 19M member community, our worlds have become a core part of the Roblox ecosystem. We're a ten-time winner of the Roblox Innovation Awards and recognized as builders of the future of the platform. From Creatures of Sonaria and Dragon Adventures to World // Zero and Horse Life, we create experiences that players live in, not just visit. What we are looking for We're looking for a 3D Artist who loves creating animals, creatures or dragons and can take them from concept art all the way to rigged, animated and in-game. You'll be building the creatures and dragons players collect, grow and play as every day, so every release needs to look great, move well and run smoothly on every device. You'll work closely with concept artists, animators, engineers and product teams to keep a steady flow of high-quality creatures landing in our live games. If you get excited about anatomy, silhouettes and making a creature feel alive, this role is for you.
Responsibilities:
Model full-mesh creatures and dragons from supplied concept art, working within set triangle budgets. Rig and animate creatures to our established naming conventions, bone hierarchies and animation requirements. Import and test assets in Roblox Studio, checking appearance, scale, rig compatibility and animation playback. Identify and fix topology, deformation, rigging and animation issues throughout production. Model and vertex paint supporting assets when needed, including simple NPCs, props, accessories and environment pieces. Create camera and character animation for cutscenes when projects require it.
Requirements:
A strong portfolio showing creature or character modelling, rigging and animation. Experience building game-ready models to a triangle budget with clean, deformation-friendly topology. Solid rigging and animation skills, particularly for non-humanoid or multi-limbed creatures. Experience working in Roblox Studio and with Roblox asset and animation pipelines. Comfortable working from concept art and staying true to an established art style. Ability to hit consistent deadlines in a live, content-driven environment. Clear communicator who takes feedback well and works well as part of a team.
Bonus:
Experience creating content for live-service games with regular release cadences. A genuine passion for creature-collecting games and the Roblox community.
